Machine Operator 

 

We are looking motivated individuals to join our growing team! Full time, Monday through Friday with OT often available, and offering competitive wages. We are looking for an experienced machine operator who will be working specifically with custom wood flooring and architectural accents.  

 

In addition to performing diversified duties to set up, operate, and coordinate operational and related activities of various machines, here's a list of what else the selected candidate should be capable of:

 

  • Work from schedules, specifications, procedures, established methods and practices, monitoring devices, gauges, instruments, written and verbal instructions.

  • Inspect lumber to meet quality standards, report any deviant product.

  • Perform and provide for minor maintenance, assist in general repairs as required, do weekly and monthly lubrication as required.

  • Prepare, label, and store material properly.

  • Return unused material back to inventory, properly stacked and banded.

  • Recover material from waste stream and utilize for maximum yield.

  • Coordinate activities and provide stock for non-scheduled events/ or problems on machines.

  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. Detect and report faulty equipment and materials to supervisors.

  • Follow all safety rules, practices, and procedures.

 

The above description covers the most significant duties preformed, but does not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned. 

 

General Laborer / Custom Finisher

Under the direction of the production supervisor, here is a list of what the selected candidate should be capable of:

 

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Standing for long periods of time.

  • Prepare, label, and store material properly.

  • Follow all safety rules, practices, and procedures.
